A great little tool that selects pupils from a class at random.
Put your class into three groups - by ability, confidence or other criteria - then secretly hit one, two or three on your keyboard to secretly choose a name at random from that group. You are therefore able to target easier questions at certain subgroups of your class. Likewise, you are able to direct higher order questions to a more able group. All the while your pupils think their name has come up by chance. Alternatively hit enter to randomly choose any member of your class.
Clever logic prevents the same names coming up too frequently, and when you choose the 'elimination' option a knock out process is started so pupils know their name will eventually be selected.
